VAT Relief Information

At Discover Mobility, we offer VAT relief on all our products for eligible individuals with a disability, in line with HMRC’s guidelines. If you have a chronic illness, long-term condition, or disability, and the product you are purchasing is intended for personal use, you may qualify for VAT exemption. This includes products such as mobility scooters, electric wheelchairs, and other related equipment.

To be eligible for VAT relief, the product must be for personal use and used to alleviate the effects of a long-term illness or disability. The individual claiming VAT relief must also meet the eligibility criteria outlined by HMRC;

• You are chronically sick or disabled and are purchasing the item for your own personal use.

At checkout, you will be prompted to complete a simple declaration form confirming your eligibility for VAT relief.
