It is essential to carefully review these terms and conditions before proceeding with your order.

By placing an order on the Discover Mobility website, you acknowledge and agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

1.General

1.1.These terms and conditions may have changed since you last reviewed them. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to ensure that you review these terms and conditions each time you place an order with us.

1.2.By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge and agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

2.Orders

2.1.All orders are checked before they are dispatched.

2.2.We reserve the right to to cancel your order for the following reasons;

2.2.1.Insufficient stock. 
 2.2.2.A product was incorrectly priced. 
 2.2.3.It was not possible to arrange the delivery of the product to your 
address. 
 2.2.4.Incomplete information on the order. 

2.3.Orders that are placed with VAT relief, must have a complete VAT relief declaration. Should there be incomplete information under the VAT relief declaration, we will follow up with you to ensure that all required information is filed against your order. Should you not reply to this request, or refuse to do so, the order will be cancelled as per 2.2.4.

3.Delivery

3.1.Most of our products are delivered to you the next working day. For a select number of products we use a specialist courier, with these orders being delivered between 1 to 3 working days.

3.2.We deliver most of our products to non-mainland addresses in the UK.

3.3.Deliveries to non-mainland addresses will attract a delivery surcharge.

3.4.When your order arrives, please inspect the item for any signs of damage during transit. If there is any issue with the product’s condition, please notify us immediately.

4.Right to Return

4.1.Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery and should be in their original condition and packaging. Before returning, contact our customer support team.

4.2.Return delivery costs will apply for orders returned for the following reasons;

4.2.1.Change of mind 
4.2.2.Product did not suit me 
4.2.3.Product arrived later than expected 

4.3.After 30 days of delivery, it is not possible to return the product.

4.4.Items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.

4.5.Products that have been customised are not eligible for return.

4.6.Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund.

4.7.Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 3-5 working days.

4.8.If items are returned without all of the parts and accessories that were originally included in the box, we will not be able to process a full refund for your order until these items are returned.

4.9.Should it no longer be possible to return a missing part or accessory, a deduction will be applied to the refund of an order.

4.10.For items that are not returned in an unused and undamaged condition, or missing their original packaging, a deduction will be applied to the refund of an order.

5.Warranty

5.1.All of our products are sold with a 12 month warranty.

5.2.Warranty is applied automatically to each order.

5.3.What is covered under the warranty;

5.3.1.Mechanical faults 
5.3.2.Faulty parts  
5.3.3.Manufacturing faults 

5.4.What is not covered under the warranty;

5.4.1.General wear and tear to parts, including but not limited to, the 
upholstery and material, and tyres. 
5.4.2.Batteries that have not been maintained or used in accordance 
with the user instructions 
5.4.3.Accidental damage caused by the user. 
5.4.4.Water damage. 
5.4.5.Damage caused by improper handling of the product. 

5.5.Warranty restrictions;

5.5.1.The manufacturer warranty is only valid if the product is used and 
maintained according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.  
5.5.2.The manufacture warrant applied solely to the original purchaser 
and is not transferable. 
5.5.3.The manufacturer warranty does not cover Discover Mobility 
products which have been modified. 

5.6.Raising a warranty claim;

5.6.1.To raise an issue with a product purchased from Discover Mobility, 
please contact us. 
5.6.2.If it is not possible to resolve an issue following a discussion with 
our team, we will arrange for the item to be collected from you, and 
delivered back to us for a repair.  
5.6.3.We aim to conduct all repairs within 5 working days. The item will 
then be delivered back to you free of charge. 
5.6.4.Should our engineers deem that there is no fault with the item, it 
will only be returned to you following payment for the return and 
outwards postage. This charge will be made clear following contact 
with our team. 

6.Liability

6.1.We are not responsible or liable for;

6.1.1.A delay in the delivery of your order caused by a third party 
delivery partner. 
6.1.2.A delay in the delivery of your order caused by an unforeseen 
circumstance, which is beyond our control. 
6.1.3.Loss, damage or personal injury, caused by improper use of our 
product, or where it is deemed that the user instructions were not 
followed. 
6.1.4.A loss relating to the use of our products for a business activity. 
6.1.5.A loss resulting from the return delivery of our product, arranged 
for by yourself, at your own expense. 

7.VAT Relief

7.1.To be eligible for VAT relief, you must meet the following criteria as defined by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC):

You are chronically sick or disabled and are purchasing the item for your own 
personal use. 

7.2.VAT relief is not available for temporary conditions or for products intended for business or institutional use. If you are purchasing on behalf of someone who qualifies, the exemption may still apply, provided the product is for their personal use.

7.3.When placing your order, you will need to complete a VAT exemption declaration confirming that you qualify for relief.

7.4.When purchasing your mobility product, you will be given the option to declare your eligibility at the checkout page. You will need to confirm your name, and the nature of your disability or chronic medical condition.
